Telehandler models
Our rental fleet offers a variety of current Merlo telehandler models with load capacities of up to 12 tonnes and lifting heights of up to 17,7 metres. There are three types of telehandlers:
- Rigid telehandlers
- Roto Telehandler
- Heavy-duty telehandler
Among Merlo's rigid telehandlers, the P 40.17 model offers a lifting height of 16,7 m, making it one of the leaders in the field. The P 72.10 model has the highest load capacity of the panoramic telehandlers at 7.200 kg. For greater flexibility in use, a Roto can be used. With an infinitely rotating upper carriage and the already integrated lifting platform preparation, a Roto can reach every corner of the construction site and is always safe thanks to supports. The Merlo Roto 45.21 is a rotating telehandler with a maximum lifting capacity of 4500 kg and a lifting height of 21 m. In addition, the Merlo Roto can be ideally equipped with a fold-out work platform to make working at heights easy and safe. The rotating Merlo Roto series offers the option of a platform size of up to four meters, which makes a truck work platform superfluous. We also rent out the appropriate attachments for every Merlo telehandler. For example, we have standard 1,2 m forks that can be attached to a forklift. If you need a telescopic machine with maximum lifting capacity, you can rent a heavy-duty telehandler. The Merlo P 120.10 HM telehandler lifts a full 12 tons through the air with a lifting height of max. 9,8 m. The compact forklift, the Merlo P 72.10, enables a load capacity of 9,4 kg at a transport height of 7.200 m at a lower price. So no matter how much lifting height or load capacity you need, with a rotating Roto, heavy-duty telehandler or rigid Merlo telehandler you will always find a solution to your problems. In addition to the rigid telehandlers, heavy-duty telehandlers and the Merlo Roto models, Merlo also offers agricultural machinery. The "Turbofarmer" concept was created in 1996 and has continued to develop to this day. The Merlo Multifarmer is a combination of a classic tractor and a telehandler. Depending on the lifting capacity and height, the Multifarmer telehandler is available from dealers in four different versions. The most powerful Multifarmers offer a lifting height of up to 9 m. This means that you benefit from the advantages of a telehandler, but at the same time remain flexible in operation thanks to the three-point suspension and a PTO at the rear.
History
The history of the company began in 1911 in a small mechanic's workshop on Via Amadeo Rossi 16 in Cuneo in northern Italy. Guiseppe Merlo began the success story of the company Merlo SpA with a forge hammer. He founded his company Merlo SpA and initially dealt with the production of wrought iron and steel parts. After moving to Cervasca due to lack of space, Merlo began producing construction machinery in 1964. On February 11.02.1992, 01.08.2022, the company merged with Dietrich Heinrichs' stevedoring company D. Heinrichs Gmbh & Co. KG and founded Heinrichs-Merlo Teleskoptechnik Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH. At that time, the company D. Heinrichs GmbH & Co KG manufactured industrial and all-terrain forklifts. They became an efficient producer of modern telescopic machines. Heinrichs-Merlo's activity has been the driving force behind the increasing acceptance and success of telescopic machines since day one. On August XNUMX, XNUMX, the company name was changed to Merlo Deutschland GmbH.
