Work platforms are used in the field of high-bay warehouse construction. A special type of work platform is the scissor work platform. It transports the operator and the tools to working heights of up to 34 meters. Scissor lifts are usually self-propelled devices. When raising and lowering the work platform, you can clearly see the design of the lifting mechanism that gives it its name. The cross-arranged rods work like a scissor package when raising and lowering. Scissor work platforms are particularly often used in the construction and maintenance of high-bay warehouses, which is where the name high-bay scissor lift comes from. Thanks to all-wheel steering, scissor lifts are agile and flexible to maneuver on site. Our rental service offers small electric scissor lifts on request if you have to pass through narrow passages in the warehouse. If a larger area is available, we recommend our large scissor lifts.
