Which wheel loaders can I rent?
Wheel loaders are state-of-the-art, versatile, large construction machines. They can be perfectly adapted to any situation thanks to a wide range of different buckets and attachments. To select the right wheel loader, you should consider the conditions on the construction site and the requirements for the machine. We offer a large number of different models, which can be distinguished as follows:
The main distinguishing feature of wheel loaders is the volume of the bucket. The volume is measured in cubic meters, with 1 cubic meter corresponding to exactly 1 m³ of bucket volume. A distinction must be made between mini wheel loaders or compact loaders and large loaders.
Mini wheel loaders are very popular with our customers. They have a capacity of less than 0.5 cubic meters and therefore have a much smaller bucket. They are often used in landscaping and gardening. They are also ideal for use in confined spaces. This is due to their smaller bucket, which is not as wide. In addition, their weight is usually significantly lower, which is why they are often referred to as mini excavators. Large loaders are wheel loaders with a bucket capacity of over 1.5 m³. They therefore belong to the heavy wheel loader class and are mainly used for heavy-duty work. This includes extraction, demolition work, and moving large amounts of earth or rubble. However, they are much wider and can be more difficult to maneuver in confined spaces.
The steering system of wheel loaders
The next thing to consider when renting a wheel loader is the type of steering. There are three types: tank steering, articulated steering, and all-wheel steering. Machines with tank steering can turn their wheels individually, allowing them to turn on the spot. This makes them very mobile in confined spaces.
With articulated steering, the front part of the machine moves independently when the steering wheel is turned. This allows for very precise alignment and positioning, enabling accurate tasks such as positioning pallets. All-wheel-steered wheel loaders are very maneuverable, making them the best choice on construction sites where maneuverability is important.
The attachment tool for wheel loaders
Thanks to the wide range of attachments available, you can adapt your wheel loader perfectly to virtually any situation. These attachments completely change the usefulness of your machine and are very easy to attach. For example, we offer pallet forks for transporting pallets. We also offer a snow plow, which allows you to clear snow from your yard faster than ever before.
