Luibl builds new HUB in Weißenfels

New East HUB near Leipzig on the A9: Luibl Rental invests in logistics hall with workshop for up to 50 employees

The Europe-wide operating Luibl Rental Group is continuing its growth and investing in a new location in Eastern Germany. In Weißenfels, near the Leipzig metropolitan region and directly visible from the A9 highway, the new East headquarters of the rental company for aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and forklifts will be completed by the end of 2027 / beginning of 2028.

With this new construction, Luibl Rental strengthens its position as one of the leading providers of special equipment in the German-speaking region. A large office building already stands on the property, which will now be complemented by a modern logistics hall, a fully equipped workshop with an overhead crane, and a dedicated washing facility.

"The new location will serve as a central hub for our activities in Eastern Germany," says company owner Karl Bauer. Up to 50 employees from the areas of dispatch, sales, technical support, and service will operate from Weißenfels. Additionally, the site will function as a distribution center (HUB) for the region.

In addition to the new East HUB in Weißenfels, Luibl Rental Group already successfully operates its South HUB in the municipality of Schillingsfürst, directly at the Crailsheim/Feuchtwangen highway interchange (A6/A7). This strategically located site serves as a central hub for southern Germany.

With a well-rounded rental fleet, including telehandlers with up to 39 meters of lifting height and 20 tons of lifting capacity, as well as aerial work platforms up to 57 meters high, Luibl Rental focuses on providing specialized solutions for demanding tasks in industry, construction, and infrastructure.

The new HUB underscores the company's long-term growth strategy, with a clear focus on quality, availability, and regional customer proximity.
