Mast lifts differ fundamentally from scissor lifts: they need a fraction of the footprint, run electrically (zero emissions), and leave no marks on the floor. That makes them the standard choice for warehouses, production halls, and sensitive indoor spaces.

The vertically extending mast reaches its working height without needing space to the side. Unlike articulated boom lifts, a pure mast lift needs no jib arm — it moves straight up. That's the decisive advantage in confined areas. Models such as the JLG Toucan or the Haulotte Star fit easily through doorways (under 1 m wide) and into standard freight elevators.

Floor loading is not an issue
All our mast lifts are fitted with non-marking tyres. That means industrial parquet, epoxy resin floors, even carpeted floors remain undamaged. Point loading is minimal — thanks to low dead weight and a wide tyre contact area.

Here's a common misunderstanding: not every compact aerial work platform is a mast lift.

Mast lift (vertical)
Pure vertical lift with no outreach to the side. Works directly above its base, straight up. Ideal for point-specific work and indoor spaces. Examples: JLG Toucan 12E, Haulotte Star 10.

Articulated boom lift with jib
Mast arm with a rotating upper boom. Allows outreach to the side — important when obstacles need to be worked around. Example: Manitou VJR 100 with 345° rotation. Needs somewhat more space but offers greater flexibility.

For high-bay warehouse racking or overhead line work, you'll generally need the pure mast lift. For facades or work around obstacles (poles, cables), the articulated boom is the better choice.

This binding set of rules defines inspection intervals, operating requirements, and maintenance intervals. We comply with all deadlines.

DIN EN 280:
The safety standard for mobile elevating work platforms. It governs how the platform is secured, which fall-protection measures apply, and how hydraulic lines are protected.

IPAF/PAL Card:
Recommended for operators. A compact certificate proving that the operator can safely operate the machine. Many site owners require it. We arrange the training or accept existing certificates.

Site assessment before rental:
We check the floor load capacity of your site. At project start, send us photos and plans. If risks arise, we discuss solutions (floor protection mats, load reduction) together.

Call Monday at 10:00 a.m., machine on site Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. — that's our standard. Across borders (Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic) it takes 1–2 days.

Within 2 hours you'll receive a tailored quote covering rental price, transport, and insurance. We clarify any open questions about your site (access, power for charging, space conditions).

Step 3: Booking & induction
Contract signing. Then: delivery day + on-site induction. The operator receives a live demonstration and is handed the operating manual.

Step 4: Operation
The mast lift is your tool. For questions or issues, reach our technical support Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Step 5: Return
Have the machine ready at the agreed time. Fast collection. Credit note for unused time.
