The tracked undercarriage spreads the machine's own weight over a large contact area – minimal ground pressure, maximum protection for sensitive surfaces. The non-marking rubber tracks leave barely a trace on parquet, marble, or tiles with underfloor heating. Under DGUV Rule 308-009, aerial work platforms may only be operated by briefed personnel. At the start of the rental, your staff will receive a proper briefing on operating the tracked platform. For further qualification, we recommend a certified aerial work platform course to IPAF standard.

Which ground surfaces are spider lifts best suited for?

Spider lifts are the first choice for pressure-sensitive and uneven surfaces. They are ideal for lawns, parquet, marble, tiles with underfloor heating, as well as outdoor terrain with mud, sand, or gradients of up to 30%.

Do spider lifts fit through standard doors?

Yes. Many models have a retracted width of just 78 to 90 cm and pass easily through standard interior doors, garden gates, and narrow industrial aisles.

What drive system do the tracked platforms have?

All rental units feature Bi-Energy drive: diesel/petrol for outdoor use, electric motor (230V or battery) for locally emission-free indoor operation.

How does the outrigger support work on uneven terrain?

The four outriggers are independently controllable and can be positioned asymmetrically. This safely compensates for terrain gradients of up to 30% and steps.
