Rent Telescopic Boom Lifts in Berlin

Berlin is constantly building, renovating and producing. Whether it is the facade of a period building in Charlottenburg, maintenance work on industrial plants in Spandau or the set-up at the ICC exhibition grounds - every working-at-height project in the capital region needs the right aerial work platform. Luibl Rental delivers telescopic boom lifts, articulating boom lifts and scissor lifts with its own low-loader fleet directly to your Berlin site.

Berlin's cityscape creates very different requirements: narrow courtyards in Prenzlauer Berg call for compact articulating boom lifts, while extensive logistics areas in Grossbeeren or Wustermark demand straight telescopic boom lifts with maximum working height. Luibl Rental has the right machine ready for every scenario - from the scissor lift for indoor use to the truck-mounted platform for quick outdoor jobs.

Straight telescopic boom lifts - maximum reach and stability

Straight telescopic boom lifts provide the most direct access to height and are ideal wherever a stable, straight boom is required: facade work on Gruenderzeit buildings in Mitte, installations on industrial buildings in Oberschoeneweide or lighting assembly on large company premises on the city outskirts.

• Working heights: 18 to over 43 m

• Load capacity: up to 454 kg in the basket

• All-wheel and rough-terrain drive for unpaved Berlin sites

• Available brands: Genie, Manitou

Articulating boom lifts - working over obstacles

Where beams, ventilation ducts or production lines have to be bridged - in factory halls in Reinickendorf or Siemensstadt - articulating boom lifts are the right choice. The swivelling articulated arm allows the basket to be positioned precisely even in hard-to-reach areas, without repositioning the machine.

• Working heights: 16 to 31 m

• Articulated arm combined with a telescopic boom

• Compact wheel diameter for indoor areas and narrow passages

• Available brands: Genie, Manitou, Magni

Scissor lifts for wide, horizontal working areas

On exhibition areas such as the Estrel Congress Center or in logistics halls at BER Schoenefeld, electric scissor lifts offer a wide, stable working area with no emissions and no noise. Non-marking tyres reliably protect sensitive hall floors.

• Working heights: 6 to 17 m

• Electric drive - silent and locally emission-free for indoor use

• Wide platform for material and several people

• Also available with diesel or hybrid drive for outdoor areas

Truck-mounted platforms for flexible outdoor jobs in Berlin

Tree care in the Grunewald, maintenance of advertising signs on Kurfuerstendamm or power line work in Reinickendorf - truck-mounted platforms are the most efficient choice for quick outdoor jobs. A category B driving licence is sufficient and there is no set-up time at all.

• Side reach of over 20 m

• Ready for immediate use, no set-up required

• Ideal for network operators, municipalities and trade businesses

The operation of mobile elevating work platforms and telescopic boom lifts in Germany is governed by BetrSichV and DGUV Rule 100-500. It stipulates bindingly that every operator must be appointed in writing by the employer and instructed on the specific machine. Without valid instruction, an aerial work platform may not be operated - not even on private company premises in Berlin.

What this means in practice for Berlin businesses:

• Written appointment: The employer must appoint the operator in writing and verify their suitability

• Instruction on the machine: Practical instruction on the specific platform in use is mandatory

• PSAgA: Personal fall protection equipment (PSAgA) must be worn when working on aerial work platforms

• BetrSichV handover: Luibl Rental hands over all rental machines with complete handover documentation in accordance with the German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV)

• UVV inspection: All machines in the Luibl fleet are inspected regularly in line with the UVV accident prevention rules

Luibl will inform you, with no obligation, about certified training providers in your region that offer DGUV-compliant operator instruction in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Luibl Rental knows the specific requirements of Berlin's various industries from daily rental practice:

Construction: For high-rise projects around Alexanderplatz, complex refurbishment work in Charlottenburg or the infrastructure expansion on the A100, Berlin site managers rely on telescopic boom lifts with a long reach and DGUV-compliant equipment.

Heritage conservation: For restoration work on historic facades in Berlin-Mitte or in Potsdam, lightweight special platforms with particularly low ground pressure are available, protecting fragile historic surfaces.

Industry & logistics: In the Grossbeeren and Wustermark commercial parks and at the logistics facilities around BER Schoenefeld, maintaining high racking systems and hall structures is impossible without reliable aerial work platforms. Luibl also delivers when demand arises at short notice.

Events, film & trade fairs: For productions at Studio Babelsberg we supply dark, visually discreet platforms for use in lighting technology. Trade fairs and events at the ICC or Messe Berlin call for quiet electric platforms with non-marking tyres.

Telecommunications & energy: Network maintenance and energy supply in a metropolis require regular working-at-height assignments - Luibl Rental responds reliably to short-notice enquiries as well.

As one of the few rental providers in the market, Luibl Rental operates its own low-loader fleet that is permanently on the road in the Berlin and Brandenburg region. For you as the hirer this means:

• Direct delivery without an external haulier and without intermediate storage

• Plannable delivery schedules, even for short-notice enquiries

• Reliable collection after the rental period ends, with no scheduling delays

• Usable throughout Europe - Luibl Rental rents to more than 15 countries

Luibl Rental keeps telescopic boom lifts from the world's leading manufacturers available: Genie, Manitou, Magni and Merlo. All machines comply with the current Stage V emissions class, are serviced regularly and inspected to UVV standards before every handover.
