Signage and technical equipment on commercial buildings in the city centre

On commercial buildings around Anger, Bahnhofstrasse and Juri-Gagarin-Ring, signage, awnings and cameras are usually installed from the pavement or carriageway. For this you need a special use permit or a traffic order from the city of Erfurt. Where trams run, the overhead line lies in the work area: agree the safety clearance or a shutdown with Erfurter Verkehrsbetriebe (EVAG) in advance.

With its half-timbered and stone houses, numerous churches and the built-up Kraemerbruecke bridge, the Erfurt old town is largely preserved and in large parts listed.
