Rent Construction Equipment in Kiel - Excavators, Telehandlers, Aerial Work Platforms & Forklifts

As the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein and one of the most important industrial and naval technology locations in northern Germany, Kiel is shaped by strong demand for high-performance construction and lifting equipment. From shipyard conversions at the Ostuferhafen and new hall construction in the Wellsee commercial estate through to maintenance work along the Kiel Canal - reliability, technical expertise and safe logistics are decisive on Kiel construction sites and in the businesses of the region. Luibl Rental & Sales rents out excavators, telehandlers, aerial work platforms and forklifts at short notice, delivered by our own low-loader fleet directly to your site in Kiel and throughout northern Schleswig-Holstein.

Mini excavators and crawler excavators are available for earthworks, civil engineering and demolition projects. In Kiel's densely built-up urban area - for example for house connection work in Gaarden or sewer work in Dietrichsdorf - compact mini excavators with low ground pressure and a narrow chassis are the first choice. For larger earthmoving operations on commercial sites in Wellsee or infrastructure projects around the Kiel Canal, crawler excavators are available on request. All machines comply with the current Stage V emissions standard.

Telehandlers prove their worth on Kiel construction sites for moving materials on shell structures, for fast pallet handling in logistics halls and as a mobile crane substitute on confined commercial premises. Luibl rents out fixed and rotating roto telehandlers from Manitou, Merlo and Magni - with lifting heights of up to 39 metres and load capacities of up to 33 tonnes. Fitted with a work platform and radio remote control, the roto telehandler becomes a certified aerial work platform: ideal for facade work on new commercial buildings in Wellsee, maintenance work on industrial plants in the Kiel-Schilksee industrial estate or installation tasks at the ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems site, where there is not enough space for mobile cranes.

For work at height in Kiel and the surrounding region, Luibl offers the full range of modern aerial work platforms:

• Scissor lifts (electric): For level hall floors and locally emission-free indoor work - e.g. in production halls in the Wellsee commercial estate and warehouses in Kiel-Mettenhof

• Articulated and telescopic boom lifts: For lateral outreach and reaching over obstacles, in demand for facade refurbishment in Kiel-Mitte and for maintenance work in harbour buildings at the Ostuferhafen

• Spider lifts (tracked platforms): For unpaved and soft ground on construction sites across the North German Plain and on outdoor areas along the canal banks

• Mast lifts & chain-driven work platforms: For narrow access routes in Kiel's Wilhelminian-era quarters and narrow courtyard entrances in Gaarden

All aerial work platforms in the Luibl rental fleet are regularly inspected and serviced in accordance with BetrSichV and DGUV Rule 100-500. Inspection records are available on request and meet the requirements of the German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV).

Forklifts are available in every version for warehousing, production and handling sites in Kiel: diesel forklifts for outdoor areas and port zones, electric forklifts for locally emission-free operation in production halls and high-bay warehouses - e.g. in logistics centres in Kiel-Wellsee or around the Kiel Canal Terminal - as well as reach trucks for narrow warehouse aisles. All rental forklifts are inspected in accordance with DGUV Regulation 68 and hold a current UVV accident-prevention inspection.
