Cherry picker, boom lift or scissor lift: which machine fits?

For straight facades and hall ceilings a scissor lift is usually sufficient, because it lifts the highest platform load vertically. If you work over pipe bridges, plant components or canopies, the articulating boom lift is the better choice. Great heights with a long outreach are reached with the telescopic boom lift, and soft or uneven ground with the spider lift. All designs are compared under Rent a lifting platform.

Electric or diesel: the job site decides

In production halls, warehouses and sales areas, electric machines work without exhaust at the job site and considerably more quietly than diesel machines. On sites and plant grounds with unpaved surfaces, slopes or long travel distances, diesel machines with four-wheel drive have the advantage. Tell us the job site and the ground conditions in your enquiry, and we will suggest the right drive type.

Telehandlers, forklifts and mini cranes for material and assembly

Roto telehandlers combine crane, forklift and work platform in one machine and rotate through 360 degrees. For pallets and heavy loads on unpaved terrain, all-terrain forklifts are usually the more economical solution. Where only a door remains as access, a mini crane lifts glass panes, ventilation units or steel beams.

We deliver from Luetzen with our own trucks – no collection needed

Every lifting platform from Luetzen is delivered to you. Self-collection is not offered at this location. Our own trucks handle transport, unloading and pick-up after the rental period.

  • One contact for machine and transport: You tell us the job site, period and task, and we plan machine and delivery together.
  • Delivery at short notice and by arrangement: We agree the date with your site management or plant maintenance. For large machines above 40 m we recommend early scheduling.
  • Short routes via the A9 and A38: From Luetzen our vehicles reach Leipzig, Halle, the chemical triangle and the Burgenland district without detours.
  • Daily, weekly and long-term rental: The rental period is based on your project, from one day to several months.

One location for Central Germany

Luetzen lies between Leipzig and Weissenfels, right in the Leipzig-Halle economic area. From here we serve Saxony-Anhalt, western Saxony and eastern Thuringia, from Halle and Merseburg to Jena and Gera.

Before delivery we check access and ground conditions

So that the machine fits on the first appointment, we ask in advance about access, clearance heights, ground bearing capacity and set-up area. On plant sites we also clarify access rules and delivery times, and for narrow courtyards we plan a more compact machine.

Delivery area: from Leipzig and Halle to Jena and Chemnitz

Luetzen lies at the centre of a delivery area covering the Leipzig-Halle region, the chemical triangle and the neighbouring regions. The distances are rounded guide values for the road route from our rental depot.

For these jobs, companies in Central Germany rent lifting platforms and forklifts

The Leipzig-Halle area combines chemicals, logistics and industry with rural regions. This results in four typical fields of application for rental equipment.

Chemicals and plant engineering in the chemical triangle

In the chemical parks around Leuna, Schkopau and Merseburg, maintenance, shutdowns and conversions are on the agenda. Articulating boom lifts work over pipe bridges and plant components, and spider lifts on unpaved plant grounds.

Logistics between Leipzig and Halle

Leipzig/Halle Airport and the A9, A14 and A38 motorways make the region a logistics location. New halls, racking assembly and handling are part of everyday work. High-rack scissor lifts up to 33 m and telehandlers cover roof, facade and material transport.

Industry, commerce and hall construction

Production and storage halls are being built in the industrial estates of Leipzig, Halle and Weissenfels. For assembly and maintenance, electric scissor lifts with non-marking tyres are suitable; heavy-duty forklifts up to 16 t handle heavy components.

Agriculture, photovoltaics and old towns

In the Burgenland and Saale districts, barns, machine halls and photovoltaic systems are being built. All-terrain forklifts and telehandlers move modules and building materials on unpaved ground. In old towns such as Naumburg or Weissenfels, compact articulating boom lifts and mini cranes work where larger machines cannot go.
