Aarhus Havn – Container Port and Ro-Ro Terminal The port is the logistical heart of Denmark. Container handling, Ro-Ro operations and quayside workshops all require forklifts of every class – from 3 tonnes for palletised goods to 33 tonnes for special transport. Viby J – Commerce and Warehousing Warehouses and production businesses south of the city centre make intensive use of electric forklifts. The focus here is on 3–5 tonne load capacity with medium lift heights (4.8–6.0 m).

An often underestimated factor: a forklift's stated rated capacity refers to a load centre of gravity of 500 mm. For bulky loads or special pallets with a greater centre-of-gravity distance, the actual residual capacity is reduced. Luibl provides the complete load charts with every rental machine – and advises on which model is the right choice for your specific load centre of gravity in Aarhus. This protects against accidents and planning errors.

CE marking and EU Machinery Directive: all Luibl forklifts carry the CE mark in accordance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Declarations of conformity are provided on delivery.

DGUV Regulation 68 / BetrSichV: every forklift in the Luibl rental fleet has a valid UVV inspection under DGUV Regulation 68. Maintenance records and inspection certificates are handed over with the machine. For long-term rentals, the annual UVV inspection is included in the rental agreement.

AT-vejledning (Danish Working Environment Authority guidance): the Danish Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet) may prescribe specific operator qualifications for operators of industrial trucks. Legal note: please have the currently applicable local requirements (in particular regarding the forklift licence in Denmark) checked by a qualified professional before starting operation.

Forklift licence: in Germany, and under European standards generally, a valid industrial truck licence (Staplerschein) is required to operate a forklift. Luibl provides instruction on handover and can point you towards training providers in the region.

Handover briefing: Luibl's delivery staff provide operating instructions on delivery – including guidance on the load chart, PPE requirements, towing procedure and emergency lowering function.
