Lithium-ion battery and AC drive
Power comes from a 24 V, 230 Ah lithium-ion battery. According to the manufacturer, it offers 30 % more running time and also works at temperatures down to −20 °C. A battery management system monitors the battery in addition to the machine control. The AC wheel motors are IP67 water-protected and maintenance-free over their entire life cycle; the scissor joints require no lubrication.
