Rent Telehandlers in Burghausen: 4.30 to 38.90 m Lift Height

Rent Telehandlers in Burghausen: 4.30 to 38.90 m Lift Height

You can rent telehandlers for Burghausen from Luibl Rental from 63 models with 4.30 to 38.90 m lift height and up to 33,000 kg lifting capacity. In Burghausen, requirements change within a few kilometres: in the plants of the Bavarian Chemical Triangle you lift steel beams and pipework components between running installations, while in the old town on the Salzach you bring material over narrow lanes and the castle slope to the facade. Which telehandler fits therefore depends less on the greatest lift height than on load, outreach and set-up position at the respective job site. Delivery is from our location in Passau.

Rent telehandlers in Burghausen: the job site determines the type

Four types cover the typical jobs in Burghausen. The table assigns them to the places where they are needed most often:

You will find an overview of all models under Rent Telehandlers.

Telehandlers in the plants of the Chemical Triangle: lifting, moving and assembling with plant approval

Around Burghausen there are chemical and refinery plants densely built up with pipe bridges, columns, tanks and halls. A telehandler takes on tasks there for which a mobile crane and an aerial work platform would otherwise have to be brought in.

Roto telehandlers replace crane and platform during assembly

A roto telehandler stands on its outriggers and rotates the upper carriage through 360°. With the load hook it places pipe sections or beams on the pipe bridge; with the work platform it then brings the fitters to the connection point. The largest roto in the rental fleet, the Magni RTH 6.39SH, reaches 38.90 m lift height and 27.00 m horizontal outreach with 6,000 kg lifting capacity.

Clarify plant rules before the first lift

The operator's requirements apply in the plant. Before delivery, clarify access approval, work permit, briefing and whether hazardous areas are affected. Whether a diesel machine may work in an installation is decided solely by the plant operator.

Heavy components during a shutdown

Pumps, heat exchangers or valve blocks quickly weigh several tonnes. Heavy-duty telehandlers lift up to 33,000 kg and carry the load across the plant site to the installation point. Because shutdowns are fixed well in advance, we recommend scheduling early.

Telehandlers in the old town and at the castle: little set-up space, a lot of outreach

The old town lies in the Salzach valley below the castle, which is around 1,051 m long, and the new town on the plateau above. Between the two lie a steep slope, narrow lanes and listed facades.

Stadtplatz and In den Grueben: from the pavement over projections

The telehandler usually stands on the street and reaches over the pavement, oriel or canopy to the facade. For the set-up area on public land, you usually need a permit from the town. Measure passage widths and gateways before deciding on the model.

Castle slope: working from below with outreach

Many points on the castle wall and hillside houses cannot be reached from above. A roto telehandler then works from the valley side and bridges the distance with its boom. Plan the set-up position so that the required outreach still leaves enough capacity in the load chart.

Courtyards and halls: electric drive with 1.81 m width

The Manitou MT 625e is 1.81 m wide and 1.92 m high and lifts 2,500 kg to 5.85 m. It works without exhaust at the job site and is therefore suitable for halls and courtyards.

Four details decide which telehandler suits Burghausen

With these details we can suggest a model that fits your job:

  1. Heaviest load: weight and dimensions of the heaviest part, for example a pallet of bricks or a steel beam.

  2. Lift height and outreach: how high and how far from the set-up position the load is placed. The rated capacity only applies with the boom retracted; it falls with every metre of outreach.

  3. Set-up position: asphalt, paving, gravel or a backfilled utility trench. A roto model such as the RTH 6.39SH puts 24,000 kg on its outriggers and needs load-bearing ground and packing plates.

  4. Attachment: fork, bucket, load hook, winch or work platform.

Attachments for telehandlers in Burghausen: one machine for several work steps

You can rent attachments for every telehandler. This is how they suit the jobs in Burghausen:

AttachmentTypical task in Burghausen
Work platformFitters on pipe bridges, facades and roof edges
Load hookPipe sections, beams and ventilation parts in the plants
Cable winch and lattice jib winchThreading loads between plant sections or behind projections
BucketGravel, crushed stone and excavated material on sites in the new town

Every combination of telehandler and attachment requires the manufacturer's approval and its own load chart. We put it together to suit your job.

Transport to Burghausen: around 95 km from Passau

It is around 95 km from our location in Passau to Burghausen. The telehandler comes to you on a low-loader. In advance, we agree with you:

  • delivery address, plant gate or set-up area in the old town

  • unloading area for the low-loader and time window for delivery

  • end of rental and collection

Roto models with an operating weight of more than 20 t need separate transport. Read more about the process under Transport.

Telehandler drivers in Burghausen: German law, Austrian law in Hochburg-Ach

Burghausen lies directly on the border. Which law applies to the driver is decided by the location of the job site, not by where your company is based.

Job site in Burghausen: BetrSichV, ArbSchG and DGUV

Under Section 12 of the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) and Section 12 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG), you may only entrust the telehandler to persons who are trained, instructed and authorised in writing. Training follows DGUV Principle 308-009, together with DGUV Regulation 68. This includes a risk assessment and instruction on the rented model including its attachment.

Job site in Hochburg-Ach: ASchG and AM-VO

On the Austrian side of the Salzach, the Employee Protection Act (ASchG) and the Work Equipment Ordinance (AM-VO) apply. Clarify with your client whether they recognise your driver's German certificate.

If your team lacks the qualification, we can put you in touch with telehandler training through certified partners, without obligation and free of charge.
