Renting Telehandlers in Bremerhaven – Fixed, Rotating and Heavy-Duty
Port and shipyard operations, steel construction on the quay, building construction in Lehe and Geestemuende: anyone who has to move goods, components or materials upwards in Bremerhaven needs more than a standard forklift. Luibl supplies fixed telehandlers with up to 19 m lifting height, rotating telehandlers up to 39 m and heavy-duty telehandlers with up to 20 t capacity directly to Bremerhaven – using our own low-loader fleet, with no subcontractors in the supply chain.
Also in the rental fleet: mini excavators from 1.8 t up to 30 t crawler excavators, aerial work platforms up to 57 m, forklifts and scissor lifts – all under a single contract.
Renting Telehandlers in Bremerhaven – Models and Specifications
Luibl keeps fixed, rotating and heavy-duty telehandlers in stock. The right choice depends on the job profile: lifting a pallet to 12 m, rotating a component through 360° or shifting a 15 t steel girder each call for different technology.
Fixed telehandlers up to 19 m (Manitou MT series)
Four-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, lifting heights of 6–19 m, capacity 2.5–4.5 t. The standard class for construction sites, hall building and logistics. Standard duty with pallet forks; with a work basket attachment it provides height access up to 21 m (compliant with DGUV Rule 100-500). Available brands: Manitou.
Typical applications in Bremerhaven: material supply on structural shell sites in Wulsdorf, pallet lifting on commercial premises in the fishing port, assembly support on shipyard sites.
Rotating telehandlers up to 39 m lifting height (Manitou, Merlo, Magni)
360° rotation of the telescopic boom, lifting heights of 18–39 m, capacity 3.5–7 t. Usable as a telehandler, as an aerial work platform with a basket attachment and – with a winch – as a crane. No repositioning of the machine when handling material all around the building. Available brands: Manitou, Merlo, Magni.
Typical applications in Bremerhaven: superstructure work on ship hulls, facade work on industrial halls in the Am Lunedeich commercial estate, component handling in shipyards without permanent crane infrastructure.
Heavy-duty telehandlers up to 20 t (Manitou MHT 10200)
Capacity 10,000 kg, lifting height 13 m, wide oscillating-axle chassis for rough terrain. For steel and precast concrete assembly, container handling on shipyard and industrial sites and all loads where standard telehandlers reach their limits. Details: Heavy-duty telehandlers
Electric telehandlers for indoor and hall applications
Emission-free operation, suitable for indoor construction sites, tyre warehouses and inner-city projects with environmental restrictions. Details: Electric telehandlers
Typical Applications in Bremerhaven
Port and shipyard operations: Rotating telehandlers for component handling at the Bremerhaven container terminal, in the fishing port and on shipyard sites along the Lune dyke. 360° rotation allows work on confined access routes without repositioning the machine.
Building construction in Lehe and Geestemuende: Fixed telehandlers from 3.5 to 19 m for pallet transport, scaffolding material supply and window unit installation on residential and commercial new builds in inner-city locations.
Steel construction and industrial assembly: Heavy-duty telehandlers up to 20 t for steel girders, precast components and machine modules. Combined with heavy-duty forklifts up to 16 t for complete logistics under a single contract.
Infrastructure in the Elbe-Weser triangle: Delivery to Cuxhaven, Stade, Bremervoerde, Schiffdorf and the entire surrounding area – telehandlers and excavators from one dispatch operation, one contact for the whole site.
Civil engineering and earthworks: Mini excavators from 1.8 t up to 30 t crawler excavators for house connections, sewer construction and earthworks in Wulsdorf and Mitte – combinable with a telehandler for material supply.
Delivery to Bremerhaven and the Surrounding Area
Our own low-loader fleet with dedicated dispatch – no third-party haulier in the supply chain, a plannable delivery date. Delivery area: Bremerhaven Mitte, Lehe, Geestemuende and Wulsdorf as well as Cuxhaven, Stade, Bremervoerde, Schiffdorf and the entire Elbe-Weser triangle.
Delivery to shipyard and port premises once access has been agreed with the operator. Heavy-duty telehandlers and large machines (rotating models from 30 m) need somewhat more lead time because they travel as abnormal loads – please enquire 2–3 working days in advance.
Safety, Statutory Inspection and Proof of Training
Every telehandler leaves the depot with its statutory safety inspection (UVV) completed: as an industrial truck under DGUV Regulation 68, and when used with a basket attachment as a mobile elevating work platform under DGUV Rule 100-500. All machines comply with the German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV).
Operators of telescopic machines require written authorisation from their employer and documented instruction. For operation with a basket attachment, proof of training under DGUV Principle 308-009 applies (PAL card, IPAF card). Luibl is happy to point you to certified training providers in your region, with no obligation.
