The RTH series is the technical centrepiece of the Magni rental fleet at Luibl. The decisive feature is the continuous rotation: the boom rotates 360° without a stop, without the machine having to be repositioned or manoeuvred. This considerably reduces idle times on confined construction sites.

Lifting heights and load capacities of the RTH series: The model range covers lifting heights from 17 m to 51 m. The Magni RTH 6.51 is the highest available telescopic platform of its class in the world – with 51 m lifting height and 6 t rated load capacity. Concrete application scenarios:

• Wind-farm maintenance: Maintenance technicians reach nacelles and rotor hubs without a separate crane boom. The RTH 6.51 positions the work basket exactly at working height – the continuous rotation compensates for tight set-up situations between the tower foundations.

• High-bay warehouse construction: Steel structures up to 45 m high are assembled without repositioning the machine between assembly sections. A position change is completely eliminated by the 360° rotation.

The hydrostatic travel drive of all RTH models ensures stepless, precise manoeuvring – even on gradients and gravel. The outrigger configuration with four independently extendable outriggers allows set-up on uneven surfaces without spreader-plate compromises.

All current Magni RTH models feature RFID-based attachment recognition. The system automatically identifies the mounted tool and adjusts the load chart in the control computer. The LMI (Load Moment Indicator) monitors in real time whether the combination of reach, lifting height and load capacity is within the permissible range. An overload is actively prevented – not just indicated.

The Magni cab is another differentiating factor: large-area glazing with an optimised field of view of the attachments and load pick-up, an ergonomic touch display for machine control and – for refurbishment operations with dust exposure – a positive-pressure cab that prevents the ingress of asbestos or mineral-fibre dust. For the operator, this means: no respiratory protection in the driver's cab, full concentration on the work.

The HTH series addresses projects where standard machines reach their physical limits. Load capacities between 10 t and 50 t, designed for continuous loading in harsh environments: reinforced-concrete construction, quarries, marble extraction, assembly of heavy-machinery components.

The difference between fixed TH models and the HTH heavy-duty class does not lie in the load capacity alone: HTH machines have reinforced telescopic beams, an adapted outrigger configuration for extreme ground pressures and an extended load chart that allows high load capacities even at maximum reach.

Regulatory basis: Magni HTH machines are manufactured and inspected in accordance with EN 1459-2 (safety requirements for slewing variable-reach trucks). Luibl supplies rental machines exclusively with a currently valid inspection certificate – no expired UVV deadlines, no compromises on conformity certificates.

Logistics for heavy-duty machines: A 50-tonne HTH-series machine does not move on a standard low-loader. Luibl coordinates the heavy transport including official permits, escort vehicles and site briefing. One point of contact for machine and logistics.

Bridge construction and infrastructure: RTH-series roto telehandlers position formwork elements and precast parts with precise 360° control – without crane waiting times. The lifting height of up to 51 m is sufficient even for bridges with a large clearance height.

Structural steelwork and hall assembly: Steel elements weighing up to several tonnes are lifted to exact assembly positions. The LMI prevents overload situations even with changing reaches during assembly.

Refurbishment and dismantling: The positive-pressure cab of the Magni RTH models enables work in contaminated areas (asbestos, mineral fibre) without cab contamination. Machine operators work in the protected interior – operator obligations under TRGS 519 remain entirely with the client.

Mining and quarrying: HTH heavy-duty models are designed for gravel, broken material and extreme ground loads. Load capacities of up to 50 t cover the heavy material transports in extraction operations.

CO₂ efficiency through optimised load paths: On many construction sites, Magni roto machines replace the combination of forklift and mobile crane. Fewer machines in use mean fewer diesel hours, fewer transport emissions and a reduced equipment footprint on the construction site.

All rental machines are covered by Luibl under the rental provider's liability insurance. Renters are obliged to provide proof of valid machine insurance (all-risk or comparable) for the rental period or to book it optionally through Luibl. In the event of damage, the following applies: immediate notification to Luibl, damage documentation by the renter, subsequent handling directly via Luibl – no contact with third-party workshops required. Luibl technicians carry out the initial assessment on site.
