Rent access platforms and construction machinery in Mlada Boleslav
Access platforms and construction machinery in Mlada Boleslav almost always operate inside a running production system. The city is home to the largest single industrial complex in the Czech Republic - automotive manufacturing with press shop, body shop, paint shop, assembly and logistics, plus a dense belt of supplier plants. Anyone deploying machinery here works between cycle times, conveyor systems and permit procedures. Working height is rarely the problem; the surrounding conditions are.
Electric drive: inside the hall not a recommendation but a requirement
In production halls with running output, the drive system is not a question of comfort. Freedom from exhaust emissions is a condition for approval, and it comes with requirements for noise levels, non-marking tyres and floor loading on coated industrial floors.
Electric scissor lifts are therefore the most requested class: 6.30 to 33.00 m working height with platform capacities from 227 to 1,000 kg. For maintenance on plant components and service lines at 8 to 12 m, platform area is what counts; for crane runways, hall lighting and roof services, the models from 18 m upwards are the right step. Where the work point is not vertically above a clear floor area, electric articulated boom lifts with up to 28.00 m and 280 kg platform capacity take over. Every enquiry should also state the stowed height of the machine and the permissible floor loading.
Conversion work during shutdowns: the window is the planning parameter
Plant conversions do not happen during the running cycle but during shutdowns: weekends, shift breaks, longer standstills. These windows are scheduled firmly, and within them several trades work in parallel on the same line. The machine has to be standing on the area already briefed and approved when the window opens, not rolling up at that moment - allow separate lead time for delivery, plant access, instruction and handover. By arrangement we reserve equipment for fixed periods. The end of the window matters just as much: the area must be cleared before production restarts.
The rental fleet in figures

| Narrow-aisle scissor lifts | 18.50 - 33.00 m | 450 - 1,000 kg |
| Articulated boom lifts | 10.89 - 48.15 m | 150 - 450 kg |
| Telescopic boom lifts | 14.00 - 56.90 m | 227 - 454 kg |

Working across conveyor systems and paint shops
The typical conflict in an automotive hall: something that cannot be moved is standing underneath the work point. Overhead conveyors, skid systems, paint shop cabins, extraction and dryer sections occupy the floor permanently. A scissor lift that travels straight up will not reach the target there.
The answer is horizontal outreach. Articulated boom lifts with 10.89 to 48.15 m guide the platform sideways to the work point while the machine stays in the aisle. For roof trusses and building services above areas that can be driven on - outdoors and in new-build halls before fit-out - telescopic boom lifts with up to 56.90 m remain the class with the largest reserve. Also clarify the restricted zones: operators frequently impose slewing limits close to conveyor systems.
Rack aisles in the parts store and across the supplier belt
Parts and sequencing stores work with tall, narrow aisles. For maintenance on racking, sprinkler systems, lighting and data points, narrow-aisle scissor lifts with 18.50 to 33.00 m and 450 to 1,000 kg are the right design: narrow track, high lift height, enough payload for technician and material. In the supplier belt around the city the picture is similar, only on a smaller scale. For work locations without a drivable access route - roof installations above green areas, yards between halls - spider lifts with 13.00 to 39.50 m are available.
Telehandlers, excavators and forklifts for the plant and supplier operations
Telehandlers handle material transport and installation lifts without a crane. Fixed-frame models lift up to 18.80 m with 1.25 to 25 t capacity - the heavy classes are in demand when setting plant components. For use inside buildings there are electric telehandlers with 5.85 to 30.00 m; in tight plant yards, rotating models with 15.42 to 38.90 m work all around from a single set-up. Excavators from 1.8 to 30 t cover site development, foundations, utility work and interior demolition during hall conversions, alongside counterbalance forklifts from 3 to 16 t and high-lift stackers with 2.70 to 5.50 m lift height.
Inspection, documentation and operator duties in the Czech Republic
Which duties apply is determined by the place of use. In the Czech Republic, government regulation NV 378/2001 Sb. is the governing basis; it contains a dedicated annex for equipment used to lift loads and people. Inspection follows CSN EN 280, with the framework set by the Labour Code (Zakonik prace, 262/2006 Sb.) and Act 309/2006 Sb. From us come the machine, the inspection record, the CE documentation and the operating manual; what stays with you are the risk assessment, operator instruction and the check before work begins.
In a plant of this size, the site regime comes on top as a separate layer: access and driving permits, safety instruction, work permits, specifications on drive type and slewing range. These points belong before delivery, because they also determine the choice of equipment.
Transport to Mlada Boleslav
The distance from Passau to Mlada Boleslav is around 290 km, mostly motorway. We organise transport with our own low-loaders and partner hauliers. Because plant access and instruction need lead time, we register vehicle and driver in advance on request. Long-term rental conditions apply for maintenance contracts and conversion projects running over several months.
Before you enquire, it is worth looking at the designs: at Rent a lifting platform you will find all platform types from the scissor lift to the truck-mounted platform with their strengths, typical applications and operator duties.
