Rent access platforms and construction machinery in Pilsen
Pilsen is the most easily reached Czech industrial location from Bavaria: around 200 km via Waidhaus and the D5, with no detour. That changes the calculation on rental projects — a short haul means lower transport costs and more room to manoeuvre when dates shift. Automotive suppliers and production halls
The industrial parks along the D5 are dominated by supplier manufacturing and electrical engineering. The work takes place inside the hall, often while production continues, and that governs the choice of machine more than the working height does.
Electric scissor lifts are the standard here: 6.30 to 33.00 m working height, platform capacities from 227 to 1,000 kg, locally emission-free and gentle on floors. For maintenance on production lines and service routing, 8 to 12 m with a large platform area is usually enough; for crane runways, hall lighting and ventilation equipment under the roof, the models from 18 m upwards are the right class.
Two dimensions decide whether a machine can be used at all and are regularly overlooked: the stowed height — which determines whether the machine will even fit through the sectional door — and the permissible floor loading of the hall floor. With underfloor heating, screed on insulation or areas above basement levels, the latter is the real exclusion criterion.
Plant shutdowns: scheduling makes the difference
Supplier plants work with fixed shutdown windows, usually placed around company holidays or public holidays. Within these windows, maintenance, conversion and modernisation all happen at once — and the machine demand of the entire region falls on the same days.
One practical rule follows from this: enquire as soon as the shutdown date is fixed, not when work preparation begins. We reserve equipment for fixed time windows by arrangement. Anyone who enquires only shortly beforehand is more likely to get a workable alternative than the machine of their choice.
Also allow a buffer when calculating the rental period: shutdowns are extended more often than they are shortened, and an extension costs less than a second delivery.
Building construction, refurbishment and outdoor areas
Outside the halls, different rules apply. For facades, roofs and work points behind obstacles, articulating boom lifts with 10.89 to 48.15 m provide the necessary up-and-over reach. On unpaved ground in new development areas, diesel scissor lifts with four-wheel drive are the more robust choice — 9.70 to 34.00 m with up to 1,134 kg platform capacity.
In Pilsen city centre and on existing buildings where there is no access route to the facade, spider lifts come into play: 13.00 to 39.50 m with the lowest floor loading and the narrowest transport width in the fleet.

For interior fit-out, shopfitting and maintenance in occupied buildings, mast lifts are the lightest class — movable by one person and able to pass through standard doorways. The greatest working height is reached by telescopic boom lifts at 56.90 m.
Telehandlers and excavators for the Pilsen region
Telehandlers take over material distribution wherever there is no crane on site. Fixed-frame models lift 4.30 to 18.80 m with 1.25 to 25 t capacity — the 25 t class is in demand in plant engineering and for heavy precast elements. Rotating telehandlers reach 15.42 to 38.90 m and work all around from a single set-up, which saves repositioning in cramped works yards. For transport inside buildings there are electric telehandlers with 5.85 to 30.00 m.
Excavators from 1.8 t to 30 t for site development, foundations, utility works and interior demolition. In addition, counterbalance forklifts from 3 to 16 t and high-lift stackers with 2.70 to 5.50 m lift height for warehousing and handling.
Transport to Pilsen: short distances via the D5

Inspection, documentation and operator duties in the Czech Republic
Every machine is delivered with a valid inspection record, CE documentation and operating instructions. We maintain inspection intervals and maintenance history for the entire rental fleet.
Operator duties at the place of use are governed by the law of the country of use, not by that of the hirer. For the Czech Republic, government regulation NV 378/2001 Sb. is decisive; it contains a dedicated annex for equipment used to lift loads and persons. The inspection of mobile elevating work platforms follows CSN EN 280.
In supplier plants, company rules are often added on top — site access permits, safety briefings and in some cases requirements regarding the drive type. Clarify these conditions before delivery.
We supply the documents for your records — risk assessment and operator instruction remain your responsibility. The visual and function check before work starts is an operator duty regardless of whether the machine is rented or owned.
