Rent aerial work platforms and construction machinery in Ostrava
In Ostrava, height is rarely the problem – weight is. Plant maintenance in heavy industry means two fitters, a welding set, tools and spare parts: 500 kg and more quickly add up in the basket. The classes with the highest capacity in the fleet are the diesel scissor lifts: 9.70 to 34.00 m working height with basket loads from 363 to 1,134 kg. That takes two people plus heavy tools plus material up in one lift instead of three.
Add up the basket load before you enquire: people with protective equipment, tools, a welding set or hammer drill, spare parts, plus a reserve. This total determines the class – not the working height. With the electric models the range runs from 227 to 1,000 kg at 6.30 to 33.00 m; for indoor work during ongoing operations they are the right choice because they remain locally emission-free.
Unpaved ground, slag, industrial brownfields
On plant sites and former industrial areas the machine rarely stands on concrete. Slag ballast, railway tracks, subsidence from the mining legacy: here all-wheel drive and ground clearance count, not compact dimensions.
The rough-terrain versions of the diesel scissor lifts are built for exactly that. For work points that cannot be reached directly – across pipe bridges, conveyors or stockpiles – you need outreach instead: articulating boom lifts with 10.89 to 48.15 m use the articulated jib to work horizontally over obstacles.
Check the load-bearing capacity in advance wherever set-up areas sit above culverts, cellars and old mine workings. With outrigger loads instead of area loads, the point load is considerably higher than the impression given by the machine weight – spreader plates then belong in the planning.
Great heights on plants and hall roofs
Chimneys, silos, furnace platforms, crane runways, hall roofs: telescopic boom lifts deliver the greatest working height in the rental fleet at 14.00 to 56.90 m with a slim contour. They need a paved, load-bearing set-up area and room for the outriggers – on narrow works roads that is the limiting factor, not the machine.
For rack aisles in logistics halls there are high-rack scissor lifts with 18.50 to 33.00 m and a narrow track. In areas where no access road leads to the set-up point, spider lifts with 13.00 to 39.50 m are used: tracked undercarriage, the lowest ground pressure in the fleet.

Construction machinery for demolition and site development
Moravian-Silesia is a region in structural transition: demolition, remediation of contaminated sites and the redevelopment of industrial land all run in parallel. The rental fleet covers both ends of that.
Excavators range from the 1.8 t mini excavator for interior demolition and service trenches to the 30 t crawler excavator for demolition and bulk excavation. The classes in between – 3.5 t, 5 t, 8.5 t, 14 t, 23 t – are available throughout, so the machine fits the task instead of the other way round.
Telehandlers handle material without a crane: fixed models with 4.30 to 18.80 m lifting height and 1.25 to 25 t capacity, Roto telehandlers with 15.42 to 38.90 m and a slewing superstructure. For handling inside halls and warehouses, forklifts from 3 to 16 t.
Transport to Ostrava and the region
Ostrava lies around 450 km from our Passau base – the furthest of the Czech core locations. We organise transport with our own low-loaders and partner hauliers and coordinate the delivery date with your construction schedule.
Lead time pays off over this distance in particular: anyone planning shutdown or overhaul work should schedule the machines early – then the preferred machine is ready instead of an alternative. The same scheduling applies to projects in Karvina.

Inspection, documentation and operator duties in the Czech Republic
Every machine is delivered with a valid inspection certificate, CE documentation and operating instructions. We keep inspection intervals and maintenance histories for the entire rental fleet.
Operator duties at the place of use are governed by the law of the country of use. For the Czech Republic, Government Regulation NV 378/2001 Sb. is the decisive rule; it contains a separate annex for equipment for lifting loads and persons. The inspection of mobile elevating work platforms follows CSN EN 280.
In industrial plants the operator's own works regulations frequently apply on top – access permits, work clearance certificates, briefings. Clarify these requirements before delivery; they sometimes decide which drive type is permissible.
We supply the documents for your records – the risk assessment and operator instruction remain your responsibility. The visual and function check before work starts is an operator duty, regardless of whether the machine is rented or owned.
