Official Inspection: What Works Differently in Slovakia
There is one point to plan for before the first platform stands in the corridor. Vyhlaska MPSVR SR 508/2009 Z. z. classifies a pojazdna pracovna plosina with motor drive and a lift height of more than 1.5 m as a zdvihacie technicke zariadenie skupiny A — it therefore counts as a vyhradene technicke zariadenie. This entails official inspections (uradne skusky and opakovane uradne skusky) and formal requirements for operator qualification. In addition, NV SR 392/2006 Z. z. and the occupational safety act 124/2006 Z. z. apply; testing follows STN EN 280.
Every machine leaves our depot with a valid inspection certificate, CE documentation and operating instructions; we maintain inspection intervals and maintenance histories for the entire rental fleet. Risk assessment, operator qualification and on-site instruction are the responsibility of the hirer — separately for each location along the axis, because the assessment does not travel with the platform. The visual and functional check before work starts remains the operator's duty.
