Cherry picker, boom lift or scissor lift: which machine fits?
For straight facades and hall ceilings a scissor lift is usually sufficient, because it lifts the highest platform load vertically. If you work over canopies, plant components or obstacles, the articulating boom lift is the better choice. Great heights with a long outreach are reached with the telescopic boom lift, and soft or uneven ground with the spider lift. All designs are compared under Rent a lifting platform.
Electric or diesel: the job site decides
In production halls, warehouses and sales areas, electric machines work without exhaust at the job site and considerably more quietly than diesel machines. On sites and plant grounds with unpaved surfaces, slopes or long travel distances, diesel machines with four-wheel drive have the advantage. Tell us the job site and the ground conditions in your enquiry, and we will suggest the right drive type.
Telehandlers, forklifts and mini cranes for material and assembly
Roto telehandlers combine crane, forklift and work platform in one machine and rotate through 360 degrees. For pallets and heavy loads on unpaved terrain, all-terrain forklifts are usually the more economical solution. Where only a door remains as access, a mini crane lifts glass panes, ventilation units or steel beams.
We deliver from the Passau head office with our own trucks – no collection needed
Every machine from Passau is delivered to you. Self-collection is not offered at this location. Our own trucks handle transport, unloading and pick-up after the rental period.
- One contact for machine and transport: You tell us the job site, period and task, and we plan machine and delivery together.
- Delivery at short notice and by arrangement: We agree the date with your site management or plant maintenance. For large machines above 40 m we recommend early scheduling.

- Daily, weekly and long-term rental: The rental period is based on your project, from one day to several months.
The head office as the starting point for dispatch
Enquiry, advice, quote and route planning all come together in Passau. From here we dispatch deliveries for Lower Bavaria and the Bavarian Forest, from the Passau district through the Rott valley to the Isar. You speak to a team that keeps machine, transport and date in view together.
No need to travel to the rental depot for your rental
Because we deliver every machine, you do not need to come to Regensburger Strasse for your rental. Enquiry, quote and coordination are handled by phone or via the contact form.
Before delivery we check access and ground conditions
So that the machine fits on the first appointment, we ask in advance about access, clearance heights, ground bearing capacity and set-up area. On plant sites we also clarify access rules and delivery times, and for narrow lanes and courtyards we plan a more compact machine.

For these jobs, companies in Lower Bavaria rent aerial work platforms and forklifts
Around Passau, old town and industrial estates, industry along the Danube and rural regions in the Bavarian Forest come together. This results in four typical fields of application for rental equipment.
Old town, churches and facades in Passau
The Passau old town lies tightly between the Danube and the Inn, with narrow lanes, churches and historic facades. Compact articulating boom lifts and mini cranes work where larger machines cannot go. For high facades and roof areas with a long outreach, telescopic boom lifts are suitable.
Industry and commerce along the Danube
In the industrial estates of Passau, Vilshofen, Deggendorf and Plattling, hall construction, assembly and maintenance are on the agenda. Electric scissor lifts with non-marking tyres work in production halls, and heavy-duty forklifts up to 16 t move heavy components.
Chemicals and plant engineering in Burghausen
At the industrial location of Burghausen, maintenance, shutdowns and conversions arise in large plant facilities. Articulating boom lifts work over pipe bridges and plant components, and spider lifts on unpaved plant grounds.
Timber construction, agriculture and photovoltaics in the Bavarian Forest
Between Waldkirchen, Freyung, Grafenau and Regen, barns, machine halls, timber buildings and photovoltaic systems are being built. Telehandlers and all-terrain forklifts move modules, timber and building materials on unpaved ground, and spider lifts reach roof areas even on slopes.
