Rent aerial work platforms and forklifts in Brescia

For industrial companies, construction firms and farmers in Brescia, Luibl Rental has aerial work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers available for hire and brings them with its own low-loader fleet straight to the job site. With around 200,000 inhabitants, the city at the foot of the Pre-Alps is the second largest in Lombardy after Milan and the centre of one of the most heavily industrialised provinces in Italy. Steelworks, foundries and mechanical engineering companies stand alongside wine-growing areas and large livestock farms – and ground conditions, loads and working heights vary accordingly. Here you can find out which machines prove themselves in Brescia, what Italian law requires of your operators and how we deliver.

Brescia lives from the metal industry, mechanical engineering and agriculture

Anyone using rental equipment in and around Brescia usually works in one of four sub-areas, each with its own profile:

  • The city's industrial zones: In the south and west of Brescia there are electric steelworks, rolling mills and metalworking companies, as well as a large Iveco truck plant. Maintenance on crane runways, roof drainage and hall lighting is part of everyday work here.

  • Val Trompia and other valleys: North of the city, precision engineering, valve manufacturing and firearms production line the valleys; Beretta has its headquarters in Gardone Val Trompia. Many factory halls there are built into narrow valley floors, which restricts access for large machines.

  • Bassa Bresciana: The plain in the south is characterised by dairy farming and livestock. Telehandlers move feed, bales and building materials for new barns there.

  • Franciacorta and Lake Garda: Between Lake Iseo and Lake Garda lie sparkling wine cellars, hotels and holiday resorts. Before the season, facades, roofs and outdoor facilities are on the agenda.

Then there is the city itself. In the old town with the Santa Giulia monastery complex, which is part of the Lombard UNESCO World Heritage Site, and around the Cidneo castle hill, work on historic buildings comes up again and again; light machines with low ground pressure are in demand there. At the Brixia Forum exhibition centre, scissor lifts and electric forklifts are needed for setting up and dismantling exhibitions.

Forklifts and telehandlers in Brescia carry coils, pallets and feed bales

In Brescia, the material flow often determines the entire project. We therefore put together handling equipment for you according to the working environment:

  • In the factory hall: Electric forklifts work without exhaust at the job site and are suitable for warehousing, assembly and dispatch in metalworking companies. For open areas with gravel or ramps, choose diesel forklifts or rough-terrain forklifts.

  • On the construction site: With telehandlers you lift pallets onto floor slabs and over scaffolding. The Manitou MT 730 H handles 3,000 kg and 6.90 m lifting height – sufficient for residential buildings in the suburbs or new commercial buildings along the motorway.

  • On the farm: On livestock farms in the Bassa Bresciana and wine estates in Franciacorta, four-wheel-drive telehandlers take over stacking bales and loading crates.

Our telehandlers come from Manitou, Merlo and Magni. In Italy, Annex VII of D.Lgs. 81/2008 prescribes an annual verifica periodica for these machines. For longer jobs such as a new hall build or a harvest season, we agree a suitable rental period with you.

Aerial work platforms in Brescia selected by working height

In Brescia, working height is the quickest way to the right platform. Our fleet covers the usual levels:

  • Low heights on a small footprint: Mast lifts take one person with tools up to the ceiling of workshops, offices or shops in the old town around Piazza della Loggia. They fit through standard doors.

  • 8 to 18 m in halls: Electrically driven scissor lifts offer a wide platform for installing ventilation, sprinkler systems and lighting in production and storage halls.

  • Over 35 m with obstacles: Articulated boom lifts reach over conveyor belts, silos or canopies and position the basket precisely at the work point, for example on hall roofs in the industrial zones.

  • Up to 57 m with long outreach: Telescopic boom lifts reach high facades, chimneys and roof structures, even when the machine has to stand far away.

Most of the platforms are supplied by Haulotte and Genie. In Italy, mobile elevating work platforms (PLE) are subject to an annual inspection under Annex VII of D.Lgs. 81/2008; the first verifica periodica is carried out by INAIL.

Under Italian law, hirers and rental companies in Brescia have separate obligations

For rental without an operator, Italian law clearly allocates responsibility. The basis is the Testo unico on health and safety (D.Lgs. 81/2008), Title III on work equipment (attrezzature di lavoro).

What Luibl Rental provides as the rental company: At handover we confirm in writing that the machine has been properly kept, maintained and is safe. At the same time we obtain your self-declaration (dichiarazione autocertificativa) on the training of your operators and keep it until the end of the rental; this is what Art. 72 para. 2 provides. We also explain the controls, emergency lowering and safety devices to your team on site (istruzioni all'uso).

What you ensure as the employer: Aerial work platforms as well as forklifts and telehandlers with a driver's seat may only be operated by employees holding an abilitazione under the Accordo Stato-Regioni of 17 April 2025 (Art. 73 para. 5). In addition, you instruct your staff on the specific machine (formazione e addestramento, Art. 73 para. 4). An IPAF card is welcome as additional proof, but does not replace the abilitazione.

Operating personnel are not part of our offer; the machines are operated by your own employees.

We supply Brescia with our own low-loader fleet straight to the job site

We bring every machine with our own low-loader fleet straight to the job site – to the steelworks, to the construction site in the city, to a factory hall in the valley or to a farm in the plain. Brescia lies on the A4 between Milan and Venice; the A21 leads to Piacenza, and the A35 (BreBeMi) provides a second link towards Milan. Before delivery we clarify with you access, ground bearing capacity and unloading area, so that the low-loader can unload safely even in narrow valley roads. If you have further projects in the region, you can also rent from us for Milan or Verona.

Frequently asked questions about renting aerial work platforms and forklifts in Brescia

chevronDown

What costs should I expect for an aerial work platform in Brescia?

The costs result from design, working height, rental period and delivery address. An electric scissor lift for a factory hall is cheaper than a long-reach telescopic boom lift for a hall roof. With your details on height, period and job site, we will prepare a specific quote.

Does Luibl Rental also deliver to the valleys around Brescia?

Yes. We deliver with our own low-loaders to the city, the industrial zones, valleys such as the Val Trompia and farms on the plain. We agree access, ground conditions and date with you beforehand.

Who is allowed to operate rented aerial work platforms and forklifts in Italy?

Only persons holding an abilitazione under the Accordo Stato-Regioni of 17 April 2025, based on Art. 73 para. 5 D.Lgs. 81/2008; this applies to aerial work platforms and to ride-on forklifts. The employer must additionally provide machine-specific instruction. At handover, we obtain your self-declaration on training. IPAF only counts as a supplement.

Can I rent machines long-term in Brescia?

Yes. For plant maintenance, new hall construction or an entire season in viticulture, we also rent out aerial work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers over many months. Several machines can be bundled in one contract.

Which machine is suitable for work in a Brescia steelworks?

For crane runways and hall roofs, usually an articulated boom lift, as it reaches over installations and conveyor routes. For material handling in the hall, electric or diesel forklifts are an option, depending on floor and load. Describe height, obstacles and ground to us, and we will suggest a suitable combination.
